I want some TOO!

Apologies for this beautiful Flatcoat Retriever being slightly out of focus - I made a sound to attract his attention, he looked at me for one second, then back to what really interested him: the food on the table at this Menton seafood restaurant! Hence, he's slightly out of focus. Below, you'll see the shot I eventually got but this dog wasn't remotely interested in posing. I wonder if he got given a treat. Personally I don't feed a dog from the table - ever. They get their treats just before bedtime - Biccies at Bedtime, I call it.

The dog is weary of waiting. I just noticed the tray of food sitting there beyond the table. Is this their food too?

Looks like a nice play to eat with friends (dogs of course).

  2. Do you mean the raised platter in the centre of the table? If so, then that is what they are eating. It's a large plate/tray of seafood. It's served that way in France: on a raised dish.

  3. The dog looks like it is part of the family!
I can't tell if the woman looks annoyed or just surprised :)

Where is his chair? Surely he should have his own chair? That's me - dog lover through and through! When in Manila, I take my babies out for a meal and demand a chair be provided them as well. People walking by and those at the restaurant tend to be bemused.

  6. LOL! What an expression! This poor dog is saying: "You crazy lady with the camera, please leave me be! All I want is some treats and you are intruding on my begging-time" ;-)

After all his begging, I do hope that doggy was rewarded with a nice, juicy oyster or two. Good dog!

By the way, American restaurants use those raised trays when they serve seafood in the shell.
