Gator, the Service Dog

Gator is known as a Goldendoodle. A mix of Golden Retriever and Poodle, specially bred for allergic people - many breeds are mixed to produce such a dog. In addition, Gator is a Service Dog and so was able to fly from Florida (that's why he's called Gator!) to Nice, in the cabin and 1st class, of course.

Gator lives in Monaco and is two and a half years old. I've written Gator's story on Postcards from Pension Milou - just click on the link. You'll also find a 'Mia' update.

  1. I am looking for a dog, just the special one for me and I cannot seem to find him/her.

Please check out my website and see if you can decide what type of dog I need.

I want one laid back when I want, does well with all animals, not a career barker, easy to care for, go with me on horseback, walking, cars. Not a terrible dog smell with little shedding...and smart.

I know, you're going to tell me a statue is the dog for me. The Farm has Border Collies, smart, a cocker, jacks and rats, a bichon, and a beagle/weinie dog mix. None of them are mine.

  4. In the UK they are refered to as Labradoodles. Gator is so handsome!

  5. Sara, he's a Goldendoodle, not a Labradoodle - hop over to 'Postcards' where I refer to Labradoodles and Goldendoodles - one is a labrador/poodle and one is a Golden/poodle. Yes, he is indeed handsome!

  7. Well I 'm not sure I like anyone "messing" with Goldens! ha. I had a Golden that was my heart. I will say Gator is pretty cute though. This is a new breed I"ve not heard of. Great portrait Jilly.

I'm off to Pension Milou to see about my sweet Mia.
