Waiting for Mama

This lovely Bernese Mountain Dog was 'waiting for Mama' and as you say, she had soon finished her shopping and he was a happy dog.

Beamish

Have you ever met a Bernese Mountain Dog that isn't totally adorable?  They have the most divine temperaments.  I met 7 year old Beamish in Menton one day - out with his Canadian owners and his friend, Two Spots. We'll meet Two Spots in the next post -  and then I'll tell you their story...
 

Morris

Morris, a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog. His owner was taking a rest on a bench and he was quite happy to pose for a shot. Morris - such a beauty - is 6 years old and lives in Sweden.

Lovely Bernese Mountain Dog, waiting, like all the dogs for his owner to finish watching the circus parade. He looks fed up, doesn't he - but like most of our dogs, a patient angel.

Tall drink

There a vide grenier on in Gorbio village today. Literally, 'empty the attic' - it's what we'd call a Car Boot Sale or a Jumble Sale, perhaps. This enormous Bernese Mountain Dog, although tall, is having to stretch to drink from the village fountain in the Place.
