Monaco Dog Show - Chinese Crested
They say dogs look like their owners! Well in this case I think it's true. Pretty lady, pretty dog at the Monaco Dog Show. This is a Chinese Crested dog, which is hairless, except for head, lower legs and tail. (There is a variety called the 'powderpuff' that has hair on the body as well).

Cleo
A brisk wind meant this little 4 year old Chinese Crested needed her tartan jacket. She's called Cleo and lives in Menton.

Igor, the Chinese Crested
Here's another dog I met at the Arabian Horse Show in Menton - and an unusual one.
This dapper little Chinese Crested is called Igor. He's two years and four months and he lives in Belgium.
This breed, being nearly hairless, has to have sunscreen put on the skin in hot weather - just like us! You can read more about Chinese Cresteds by clicking on the link.
He carries himself so beautifully, doesn't he? Looks like the tiniest shire horse with a blond mane.

The Chinese Crested without the Crest!
Ted is an 8 year old Chinese Crested without a crest! His owners explained they keep it trimmed. I met Ted in Menton where he was on holiday from Bordeaux. You can read more about this breed by clicking on the link.
