Dog walker

A dog walker in Nice last night.  She has seven dogs in her charge, although two are hidden.  I nearly got run over!

Achilles

This is six month old Achilles, a lovely Doberman who lives in Varese in Italy and was visiting Menton with his owners. Here he is with the beach in the background.

Venus

A Doberman with cropped ears. I thought it was banned but perhaps not in France. She's a lovely girl tho - called Venus, 7 years old and lives in Paris. We met in Ventimiglia, just across the Italian border, a short while ago.

Apologies for the bleached out background - too much sun that day - well that's my excuse...

Toscane

This Doberman was walking around the market area with her owner. She was rather nervous - you can see the way she stands in the smaller photo, rather hunched. When lying down tho she was a little more relaxed.

I'm always a little wary approaching some of the 'guarding' breeds but Toscane - she is 6 and lives in Menton - although a little wary of me, didn't seem to mind the camera.

Young Dobermann

This playful young Dobermann thinks chewing his lead is the best fun. This was taken in the walking street of Monaco - you can see the port of Monaco in the distance. Note the cropped ears, a practice forbidden in many countries now.
