Well-travelled Daisy
Daisy, the Labrador, was born in England, lived in the south of France, moved to Australia and then moved back to the UK - where she now lives. But one time, she was indeed a Riviera Dog.

Dog drool
Dog drool! ... at Monaco Dog Show. If you are not a 'doggy' person and wonder how dog drool gets onto a dog's face, let me tell you. He drools from his mouth and then shakes his head et voila! It also gets on walls and ceilings. Drooly dogs are not for everyone!
No matter, isn't he a beautiful chocolate labrador!

Hot Dog!
What a good way to cool down a hot Labrador in a medieval hill village!
Meet Heli, who is only 9 months old and lives at the top of Gorbio village. He obviously appreciates the wet tea towel on his back. Of course, it eventually fell off but his vigilant owner kept putting it back again. Isn't he gorgeous - look at those kind trusting eyes.

Jackson and 'Eyes to the Right'
This is Jackson, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. With those wavy ears you can really see why they are called Cavaliers. Jackson is six years old and lives in Paris.
In the last photo he's with Fanny, the poodle and Daisy, the labrador - all doing their 'eyes to the right' performance ...

Whose is it anyway? ...
Ricky, the little black and tan dog, has been trying to break this small branch (or large twig!) off a dead bush for weeks now. Today he succeeded at which point, Daisy the labrador, decided it was her branch.
Both dogs have featured on Riviera Dogs before but just in case you've not met them - Ricky lives in Monaco and Daisy lives in Cannes although she is here for a seven month stay as she is moving to Perth in Australia when all the paperwork is completed. So she thinks she's my dog (for the moment) and so do I! Both these dogs are totally adorable.

Happy Christmas from Marlow!
Marlow and Riviera Dogs wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
This photo was intended to be where it is, on Riviera Dogs, but last minute I decided it would suit Menton Daily Photo too, being Christmas Day - so apologies for showing it twice to readers of both blogs.
Marlow is eight and a half and lives in Monaco and when he arrived at Pension Milou for his holidays he was wearing this Santa hat - so it had to go back on for a short photo session yesterday. Woof!
Thank you so much to the dog lovers who follow this blog. Big hugs to your dogs - and you - from me. What would we do without our dogs?

Creole the Guide Dog
Meet Creole, a 4 year old Guide Dog. She lives in Menton and I loved that her owner lets her off-lead to go and play with other dogs for a few minutes.

Hot Dog!
Meet Gavi, he's a six month old chocolate Labrador who lives in Monaco. I met him on the port on the day of the recent Civil Marriage ceremony between Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock. (The big religious ceremony was the next day).
It was a warm day, hence the title of this post.
By the way, Gavi is a delicious wine from Liguria, just across the Italian border.

Baki on the Promenade le Corbusier
This is Baki - a beautiful four and a half year old Labrador who lives in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. I met him on the Promenade le Corbusier which is the beach walk from the point of Cap Martin to Monaco. You can follow that walk by going to Menton Daily Photo.

Daisy again...
You've met Daisy, the Labrador, on this blog before. She lives in Cannes but stays here when her owners are away. This photo is the result of needing to practice with the new camera that dear Santa Claus delivered for Christmas. I'm pleased with the shot and hope you like it too. And by the way, all the others taken on the same day were awful...so there is much to learn!
